Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT25 50-inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV

I’m posting this a month later because I’m not sure it’s an anomaly. I’m not sure whether or not this was Pilot Delivery’s issue or Amazon’s but the shipping and delivery of this set was a nightmare. I got property during the ‘delivery window’ to find a information that they had been out (before the ‘delivery window’) but used the set back for the loading dock because they has a Boston phone number (I’m in Zoysia) for confirmation. We finally got in touch together and they sent an additional delivery out, nevertheless this was ‘black glove’. He produced the set in, i quickly had to beg him to help me take it out of the box,and then assist me to put it on the stand so I could Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT25 use this. I had to go acquire a screwdriver from your building super to set up it. I offered the guy $[...] regarding his trouble, as well as Amazon called to inquire about what happened the next day (even now didn’t know who it had been for???) and soon after explanation refunded me personally the $[...].

Sony BRAVIA KDL46NX720 46-inch 1080p 3D Extended HDTV

4 stars for the Tv itself, simplicity of initial set up. The TV is sleek, the particular gorilla glass is great and also the picture is great once you get all the changes for HD and also widescreen set appropriately. However, need to modify that setting a large amount on the sony distant for old motion pictures and shows that aren’t HD. Most brand-new LCD’s are similar in picture quality, especially if you adjust to brilliant or photo configurations for best backlighting and clearness. Through a inexpensive music cable converter, I did connect sound to my component stereo audio, however, only 2 out of 4 speakers play and output shows it is MONO. 1st disapointment. The internet features tend to be weak… Sites which can be free, are limited, ex girlfriend or boyfriend: to play music in one site, clic on one music at a time and not a big selection to choose from. You have to sign-up EACH internet characteristic online with all your private info and pass word, then get a rule from the tv as well as enter into the online internet site on your computer. (computer is actually upstairs, Tv can be downstairs so up and down many times). Most every feature will not likely activate unless you subscribe to the monthly fee… actually Hulu does not stream to TV for free. The planet pandora won’t set up, claims the feature unavailable to register through Television set and have to electronic mail Pandora for information, haven’t received response yet. Paid big price for this product for all the internet capabilities(plus had to get a new N class router) and have not been able to use anything but UTube to discover a video, which is a sluggish process to type in the titles on the tv screen keypad, if you are not connected to the ipad or i phone. The other HUGE let down is viewing photographs from flash drive as well as from computer(which does connect with router). Any photo that is edited on a pc will NOT OPEN. Contacted Sony, no insight, only “can’t play modified photos”. This was one of the major features I wanted as a photographer and most photographers perform edit to some extent it not exclusively the time from Organic files. Slideshow won’t play without it stopping for any edited photo with black display saying “can’t open this specific file”, and stops enjoy altogether. Also, will not open panoramas, sorts your photos to all horizontals and all verticals, and will not play as a way of the original folder. TV not fantastic on the fast movements which I thought it would be with a 240 hrz, configurations for each scene sort(ie: movie, sports) doesn’t do much. Basically, all the features I needed, do not work or not as easy as they advertise on TV info/specs. Not worth the Sony BRAVIA KDL46NX720 cost for all the “features”. Haven’t tried out 3D, as glasses did not come with Television and don’t own virtually any 3D movies and never paying for Netflix at this time while having extensive cable. Buy the models devoid of the internet, especially if you currently pay for cable and/or possess blu ray with all the features.

Samsung PN51D550 51-Inch 1080p 600Hz 3D Plasma HDTV

We sold our 50″ to offset the price of buying this 59″ Check out the entry level 3D tv. The overall footprint is certainly not much bigger due to Samsungs slim bezel around the television.
This is an awesome tv set, with amazing abundant deep dark hues in the picture. Any 65″ would have been an extra $800-$1,200 or even more.

The component Samsung is not marketing is that if you have a ” cable ” network cable absolutely hooked to the back in the television (it does not have got wireless network) and have a new Samsung “D” sequence 3D blue ray players, you have all the possibilities of the >$3,000 intelligent televisions they are now promoting. The Blue Ray person marries up seamlessly to be effective as one Samsung PN51D550 integrated product. When you pop in a new DVD or BD hard drive the television automatically buttons to the blue ray High-definition multimedia input and the identical remote controls everything and never having to switch modes. Should you turn off the Blue Jimmy player it buttons back to default looking at mode. If you let down the television it also becomes off the blue ray participant all in one push in the button.

The television also links to our New samsung phone, home computers, and future items all through our wi-fi. Take some pictures on the telephone; just bring them up on the big display for viewing. Get music on the Straight talk samsung phone, play it with the television. The phone-to-television movie transfer is not good since the video compression setting technology is just not presently there with the phone firmware.
The particular Samsung apps are perfect and they keep adding more and the 3D looks better then this theaters!
There is gossip Samsung may come by helping cover their a surround stereo audio; if it marries up as well as these two parts do we may just leave the workplace our 12 year-old Yamaha 7.1 encircle system and get it too.

Samsung UN46D6400 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz 3D Went HDTV

SAfter much contemplation, pulled the trigger on this unit (UN40D6420). First a single I brought residence from BestBuy had a bad pixel. After using this Television extensively for a calendar month I Samsung UN46D6400 am somewhat satisfied. I do see several some graininess in motion moments. Sound is OK, yet speakers face the back. There is a LOT of customization required to get the better use out of this set. It will however, offer many options. I can’t imagine any person like my aged father using this set to anywhere around its potential. I am constantly adjusting the picture, sound, etc. whenever viewing diff. things. Your 3D is somewhat extraordinary looking at the 3D Channels on Direct Tv set. I bought this unit to have an antique cabinet inside a family vacation home, positive wish I could have in shape the 46′ in there… The actual glossy screen Really does reflect all the lights in the room, effecting what you are going to have on an internet to watch TV. It’s my understanding that now many bright leds, just like and including the samung could have a glossy led screen. Not to certain about the factory configurations, as I said diff. content appears better with diff. settings. Possibly check CNET pertaining to calibrating options.Pay the extra cash and get the 46′. I might have love to have anxiously waited for the new 40′ product with 240MHZ to come out as well as would have gladly paid out the difference. The Animations glasses that I acquired for free seem just a little fragile, they are also relatively hard to turn on and also off.

Sony BRAVIA XBR55HX929 55-Inch 1080p 3D Local-Dimming Passed HDTV

Just delivered today. I hooked it up and seconds afterwards saw a nice damage in the gorilla glass screen – how?? I’m working to arrange an alternative. The scratch is not huge so I’m using it right now. It seems loads better than your 32” 1080i JVC 5 year old Television it replaced. We have the 55” inch model. I’m wishing there is an even larger arranged available heh. I think larger is better. Anyway I am pretty disappointed with the scratch in the display screen and I’ve had 3 Sony merchandise in the past couple a few months with 3 dividends for replacements. Seriously. I thought this company ended up being better. I hate coming back again stuff it’s a real hassle. When I receive the replacement and I get the opportunity to really play with this I’ll expand this review. Right now Now i’m just bummed over the scratch and the inconvenience involved. Everyone references how important the actual black levels take presctiption these LCD TV’s. Some people have asserted the blacks about this set blend strait into the plastic boundaries on the sides. Less than for me but I have not done any modifying of the screen. I Sony BRAVIA XBR55HX929 haven’t even opened your remote control since I am just just sending this back.

VIZIO XVT3D554SV 55-inch 1080p 480Hz 3D Ran HDTV

I bought this TV for the 2D to switch the 720p DLP set I had created. I wanted top image quality without gonna Plasma. I liked DLP, but the brightness wasn’t competitive anymore and I was finally ready to go up to 1080p.

This collection comes as close to plasma tv’s as you can — the black levels are amazing (thanks to neighborhood dimming… as long as you aren’t really far off axis — but really, how often do you sit and watch the TV from odd angles?), the settings is amazing, and also the colors are unbelievable. The default calibration might be a off as mentioned before, nevertheless I’m pretty satisfied with only minor changes from movie function. Glossy finish possibly isn’t ideal, however it is the norm these days, so when I compared polished to a 2 year-old product with matte end in the store, I used to be shocked there had not been a huge difference inside reflective glare. I work without the motion smoothing because it annoys me personally, but mostly because it is just too good for my own eyes. Others will discover it to be awesome. Up to now, I haven’t noticed issues with true 1080/24 content. *EDIT* My personal player was set to not send 24fps, and so i enabled that. Together with one disc I attempted it introduced a few oddness. Will keep trying as well as report back.

Response instances are great with game playing, as long as you enable gambling mode which transforms off the processing. Have no idea why the other reviewer had an issue.

Inability to directly stream DLNA (or perhaps via the USB, I do believe) is one minor lower light, but my personal BD player fills in the gap nicely. Blockbuster online is definitely way better for the Xbox, but I acquired the TV as a present, not for the By means of XVT3D554SV apps.

Remote is not as bad as a few say. The keyboard is great, and you can program that via the TV as being a universal remote. What number of remotes can do that? But, I curently have a much better universal, so I only use this being a backup.

3-D mode is certainly one major lowlight if you’re thinking about the TV for that reason alone. I have done demonstrations with Panasonic plasmas and been amazed. Nevertheless so far, LED-LCD doesn’t appear to do as good using 3-D. This TV is no exception. Too much cross-talk. I believe if you could turn down the brightness in 3-D mode, it would help a lot, but alas, you are unable to. I have the Vizio eyeglasses. Another problem is that the IR sync is constantly breaking if anything gets in the manner or the angle becomes too far off axis. *EDIT* – I have read a number of reviews and think that it may be my content material selections thus far. If a person knows where to get a number of “reference” 3-D material, I will gladly review and modify this accordingly.

Overall, the set cannot be beat for the purchase price I got that for. There may be much better sets, but they’re plasma tv’s and/or considerably more expensive. Providing 3-D isn’t something you undoubtedly must have the best of, I think this is a great upgrade on the price. As good or better than the competition possibly at a lower price point.

Samsung UN55D8000 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Went HDTV

Alright guys! if you’re reading this then you’re much like me 3 months ago after i was eager to purchase this set and was slobbering over the images. I’ll get strait concise so you can thank me later because my own review is thorough (had it for Three or more 1/2 months now) along with hopefully it would enable you to decide whether or not to purchase this set you aren’t.

For one, you have to first accept the fact that each and every T.V. features it’s own troubles. None is going to be perfect! Design wise..OH MY GOODNESS! It’s exactly as thin as they say., it’s extra light for the TV it’s dimensions. The frame bezel of the TV will be ridiculously slim making the TV image seem more like 60′ There’s a great illumination from the New samsung logo that glows when the tv turns on. There’s a setting to change this off however. The remote feels nice in hand and also love the idea of New samsung adding the qwerty keyboard the back of the actual remote for exploring purposes BUT IT’S Thoroughly USELESS!! Why?..since the browser on Samsung UN55D8000 the television is so counter productive, lacks ease of use that you’ll find yourself so frustrated that you will never use the web browser again. That has not been too much of a problem because browsing the net on a TV to access information would be the very last thing i’d ever want to do. I have a mobile computer AND a smart phone for that. The onscreen Smarthub selection is well presented. Features are great! 3D, DLNA, etc. Also i have to mention People this is one of the very few pieces that COMES WITH A PAIR OF Three dimensional SUNGLASSES! Im not a fan of 3D but it is useful once in a blue moon considering. I think the glasses are crappy although, that’s probably exactly why Samsung included all of them with the TV instead of asking an arm and a lower-leg for them seperately.

Now the Cons: It’s true there is a bit of motion blur in terms of fast pace motion like sports despite playing with the adjustments. The ticker on espn towards the bottom of the channel blurs at times when scrolling. The picture quality in the beginning didnt match my personal expectations but i noticed someone say using Samsung TV’s you have to give it time for this to settle in along with boy after 2/3 weeks it got better…far better. Not only that the picture settings from my cable box was set to 720 the whole occasion. So be sure when you are getting this TV or any for that matter to be able to configure your cable television fox to 1080p to get the best picture. Also make sure the cable box is plugged in by means of hdmi cord throughout HDMI SLOT One, ive noticed One particular takes priority over any other slot. Internet marketing telling you the quality on this thing is Spectacular!!

The remote carries a button to activate the backlight feature so that you can see the buttons in the dark. There’s a button to make 3d on and off. I havent noticed the uniformity issues that has been associated with this product and if it does occur it wasnt visible enough for me to point it out. Also something you have to understand is picture uniformity is one area that’s LED affected..which means it can influence any model, any kind of brand. It’ azines just something you must decided you’ll ignore when considering a Guided TV.

Sound will be average., nothing to charisma about but the Television does include options for you to configure the device to produce sound sufficient enough or befits you best.

LG Infinia 60PZ950 60-Inch 1080p 600Hz Active 3D THX Certified Plasma HDTV

I have been incredibly happy with this particular TV acquire. It has excellent sound and a great image. I do desire that there have been more valuable web applications but it comes with Netflix which is the main one that I use anyway. One complaint that I have got is that one of the remotes that come with the TV turned LG Infinia 60PZ950 into not very helpful. The pointer remote control can be suppose to function like a mouse but it is difficult to navigate with. I by no means use it myself and just keep to the main handy remote control anyway which is really easy to use despite the amount of buttons that it has. The particular menus are easy to navigate and contains plenty of input options to hook up any device that you want to view. If you are in the market, this is a excellent3 TV.

VIZIO XVT553SV 55-Inch Class Total Array TruLED with Smart Dimming LCD HDTV

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 8:52 am on Thursday, February 16, 2012

I purchased the XVT553SV 55″ Live view screen Tru LED Television about a month back. My family and I so far love it. Its photo is as good because our panasonic plasma tv, which include contrast and color and its sound is way better. No need for external loudspeakers.

The remote control is a bit awkward. The keyboard just isn’t as effective as I believed it would be but that is not why I bought this TV (I just avoid that much typing). Your keys on it are too small for a male’s hands. With the computer keyboard sliding beneath the primary controls it is a bit thick in the hands and there’s a tendancy to play with it by sliding it out and also back in.

The internet connections offered clearly favour HDMI equipment with only one red white yellow connection available. We have older equipment, including a Wii, which does not have a hdmi relationship and we would have valued another AV type VIZIO XVT553SV connection.

I note that it came with the particular stand attached along with was very easy to get out of the box and running. Only negative be aware would be that we could scent a plastic scent coming from the TV and I can still scent it. Yes, we took all the gift wrapping off. Other family members say its gone aside. Also it would be wonderful to be able to turn off the actual VIZIO label light in the bottom.

Sharp LC52LE830U Quattron 52-inch 1080p 120 Hz LED-LCD HDTV

Like most people, I did a lot of research before dropping serious cash on an directed hdtv. I reviewed and looked at The, LG, Samsung, Toshiba, and a few others. Professional reviewers rave about Samsung and LG, although I can’t genuinely figure out why. The Samsungs just about all have a glass display screen, which does make image look crisper and improve distinction, but reflects all things in a bright area, so not very functional. The LG’s? Well, to be honest, I only offered LG a cursory look because I’ve not had much accomplishment with that brand within other products We’ve owned. Sony will get good reviews too, but Sony doesn’t make their own solar panels. Sony uses Samsung and Sharp sections, so why not buy a Samsung or Sharp instead? Not to mention Sony’s are incredibly expensive. My sister carries a Toshiba, but in my opinion it’s like Ge as I’ve not been pleased with the brand in other products associated with theirs I’ve owned or operated. So essentially this came down to Samsung or Sharp as they are both innovators inside LCD television market and manufacture their particular lcd panels. Razor-sharp invented the technology, as well as Samsung has consistently been on the technologically advanced of the technology.

Exactly why did I go using Sharp? I looked over both the Samsung 55D6000 and this Sharp. The Well-defined gives up 3″ of screen space, but both can be had for almost exactly the same price if you check around. I believe the Straight talk samsung was twenty dollars read more about Amazon as I sort this. The Razor-sharp has a few positive aspects over the Samsung in which ultimately swayed me personally. First, my 1st hdtv was a Well-defined 46″ LC-46D64U and that tv has been awesome! Still functions like new, and i also gave it to an HD-less friend of mine when I obtained this set. I’d that for 4 years and it never gave me an ounce of difficulties, so I know sharp is reliable. Next, the quattron picture in fact is much better than the other tv’s I saw. I know, I know……….I observed the CNET review wherever they had to “adjust out the inaccuracies of the additional yellow pixel,” nevertheless frankly, CNET is generally incorrect. Just look at the assessment between the customer reviews and also CNET reviews on nearly every product and you’ll notice a huge disparity, in either direction. So I don’t give CNET much weight in a decision I create. Believe me, the colors will be more vivid and colourful on the LC52LE830U Sharp. Basically want super accurate color reproduction I could do two things: 1. Adjust the settings on my tv, or even 2. Walk outdoors and look around. The picture is amazing about this TV. The second thing to consider is Sharp’s customer service, which is so good it’s borderline unbelievable. Four years ago, when I got my first Razor-sharp, I had a ring of dead pixels. My partner and i took a picture and emailed it in order to Sharp. Sharp named me the next day along with told me they were shipping and delivery a new replacement in my experience. It arrived a couple of days later and had been perfect. On this arranged, I noticed several uneven backlight, and even though it didn’t really affect the picture, even on darker scenes, I emailed sharp a picture to find out if they knew how to adjust it out. They called two days afterwards and said they would exchange it for any new set, and the new set came three days later. It is perfect. From just what I’ve read, in case you have an issue with a New samsung, they do not send out an alternative set, they send out a tech dude, who will look it over, leave, have to order your part, show up a fortnight later, tear a part your new tv, deploy the parts, and generally you may be left with the same difficulty. Flashlighting and backlight bleed is a real problem on the Samsungs. I have never had that with a Sharp. The sides have no flashlighting, and there is no backlight bleed. There was a bit of unequal backlighting on a standby display screen on the first tv set, but not on the brand new one. I also had a nightmarish knowledge about Samsung customer service before where I had any 22″ monitor that quit working. I had for you to call Samsung In search of times over the course of 42 days to resolve the problem. In the end, they delivered me a refurbished product with over 32,000 hours of consumption on it. The one I sent to them experienced 2200 hours of use. I was just upper of irate over that, and I have a bad taste in our mouth about it. More than likely Samsung makes a great television as they are the sales leader. But for me, it reduced to reliability, picture quality, and customer satisfaction, and Sharp contains the advantage in all of the areas.
